I had a new aluminum canal seawall approx. 75' and small boat platform (4 X 8) installed in a canal.

I never seen a group of people work harder. They had many tree root challenges but they worked through them, literally. There was no way to get any type of machinery into the project site so everything had to be done by hand including wheelbarrows for all the fill (2-truckloads). Project ran 2-days longer than estimate but they stuck to their quoted price and didn't ask for more.

Gary Butler and his crew (AKA Dock Pro) built two boat docks for us. One each for my neighbor and I, at the same time. Our particular shoreline is a difficult place to work. It is saturated with cypress knees and muck. In spite of the adverse conditions, they built two high quality structures that we were highly satisfied with. They used heavy grade, high quality, materials. After inspecting several docks, built by various builders, we decided that Dock-Pro built the best dock for the money. They obtained all of the proper building permits and did not try to shortcut any building codes. Once they started the project, they stayed with it consistently through completion. Even the building inspector commented on the high quality of the work.

I don't recall the exact date of this project. We had a dock and boathouse with lift installed. The contractor was excellent, the quality was very good, and the job was completed on time, in spite of slight weather obstacles. He even came back after we finally put a boat on the lift to adjust and align the lift system. Overall I would recommend him to anyone. And, it was amazing that the company owner worked on the job and never wore shoes, except for one very cold morning.

DocPro replaced 80' of damaged bulkhead from Hurricane Irma at my residence with new aluminum bulkhead that has 12' panels. 6' of it is below the bottom of the canal. On time, hard working crew, did it in time quoted and for the price they quoted.

They kept telling me things about DP that sounded almost too good to be true. Well, Gary and his son just finished up our boathouse on Lake Griffin in Leesburg. Even after throwing them a huge curveball more than halfway through the build, they worked like they were on a mission to get our boathouse completed with great care, quality and professionalism. Dock Pro is the premier dock builder in Lake County. Our community, Sandpiper Manor, needed to replace its old dock, as well as, finish the seawall from the marina area to the canal entrance. Our quest began as an extensive search looking at the work of local dock builders in Lake County including those in the surrounding counties. We eagerly selected Dock Pro because of their quality of work, their attention to detail, and their relationship with their past clients.
Gary Jr, his dad, Gary Sr, and Michael installed 125 foot of seawall, connecting to the existing seawall in the marina and running out to the canal entrance to the marina. This was a daunting task since root balls and the deteriorated old seawall needed to be removed as they progressed on their installation.
After finishing the seawall, they then took down the old dock, in sections, making room for the construction of the new dock. At the completion of the dock, we found that they had constructed a remarkably functional and beautiful dock for our community. It is a dock that the community is very proud of and one that is "the talk" of the surrounding communities.
The dock was constructed in sections on the shore, then floated out for placing in position, and the piers were then jetted in for the 5 x 10-foot dock section. After the first section was installed, the next section was built and floated out. It was amazing to watch the new section be raised and held in place for the piers to be jetted in place for attaching the next section of the dock.
Our dock is 110 foot with a 24 x 24-foot area with a 14 x 16-foot pavilion, and back to back, built in seating facing to the east and the west. On the way out to the end of the dock, there are also two benches built in opposing seating areas for 6 to 8 people to enjoy an evening breeze.
Dock Pro also constructed a 26 x 26-foot pavilion near our shuffleboard courts and putting green. The pavilion on shore matches the pavilion on the dock, which makes for a lovely view for all to see as they approach the recreational area.
We are currently waiting to be scheduled for the installation of another 165-foot of seawall on the opposing side of the marina. Once completed all the marina work will be completed, which make this area a show place for all to see and use.
